Three Generations of Thermotech Excellence

Third-Generation Mechanical Service Company Serving Central Pennsylvania

Thermotech, Inc. is a third-generation, family-owned mechanical service company proudly serving Central Pennsylvania since 1959.

What began as a small refrigeration service company has grown into a full-service mechanical contractor providing HVAC, commercial refrigeration, plumbing, commercial kitchen equipment, food-service equipment and ice-machine service for businesses and homeowners throughout the region.

Three generations. More than six decades of experience. And we're still building on what started in 1959.

1959 — WHERE IT STARTED
Harold “Dutch” Moore founded Susquehanna Refrigeration Service, building the company around refrigeration service, skilled workmanship and taking care of customers throughout Central Pennsylvania.

1981 — THERMOTECH, INC.
Under second-generation leadership from Randall K. “Randy” Moore, Susquehanna Refrigeration Service became Thermotech, Inc. The company continued to grow beyond refrigeration, expanding its mechanical service capabilities throughout Central Pennsylvania.

2023 — THE THIRD GENERATION
Following Randy's retirement at the end of 2022, Chris Moore became President and third-generation owner in January 2023. Today, Thermotech continues evolving as a multi-trade mechanical service company while remaining family-owned, local and committed to the customers who have supported the company for generations.

Ollie's Legacy. Meet Murphy.

For years, Ollie, our English bulldog, was more than Thermotech's office mascot. He became part of our personality and the face behind “Don't Get Bullied by Imitation Contractors.”

Ollie passed away in 2025, but he'll always be part of the Thermotech family and our story.

Today, Murphy, our chocolate Lab, has taken over mascot duties and inspired a new chapter:

Murphy's Law: If anything mechanical can go wrong, it will. Call Thermotech.

It's a little humor behind something we've been doing since 1959 — helping customers when their equipment doesn't cooperate.
